London’s Ceri, known for her nine-hour after-hours sets at Corsica Studios and her deep, dubby grooves that evolve into heavyweight peak-time house and Detroit-rooted techno, brings her timeless, soulful sound to Houston for VILLAGE’s final show of the year.
Her renowned reputation as a DJ, sees her regularly grace the decks at some of the world’s most revered underground clubs and parties, such as: Heideglühen, Panorama Bar, and Blitz Club in Germany, Amnesia, Pikes, and Cova Santa in Ibiza, fabric, Printworks, The Lion and Lamb, Drumsheds and Junction2 Festival in London, to name but a few. Playing alongside the likes of everyone from Ryan Elliot, Roi Perez and Objekt, to Mr. G, Kerri Chandler, Jeremy Underground and Paranoid London…
Alongside her DJ career, Ceri’s also been immersed in production for many years. Including launching own label; ‘Find Your Own’ Records, with her sold out Life Holstee EP, featuring a remix from Fred P. As well as releasing on London’s most famous and iconic club’s record label: fabric Records.
Her music is supported by some of the best names in underground electronic dance music; Ricardo Villalobos, Ben UFO, Midland, Move D, Kerri Chandler, Lakuti, Chez Damier, Jamie Jones and Richie Hawtin, as well as achieving worldwide Radio Play including BBC Radio1 and BBBC6Music.
The night opens with MizzMegan (10 PM–11:30 PM), followed by Noey Lopez of Sure Shot / Crossroads (11:30 PM–1 AM), before Ceri takes over from 1–4 AM to close out the year for VILLAGE in true underground form.
