GERARD NOT OSCAR GERARD

In this week’s Techno Vault, we have Incognito’s resident duo Gerard Not Oscar Gerard, consisting of DJ and co-founder of Incognito, Gerard Not Gerald, as well as Incognito resident DJ Oscar Gerard. Both will be playing on August 28, 2021 as the duo Gerard Not Oscar Gerard in the upcoming festival Beyond Wonderland; brought to you by Insomniac events.

This interview starts with Gerard Not Gerald explaining his origins in regards to the formation of Incognito in 2007 with current business partner Alan. Gerard also finally explains how he got his solo-artist tongue twisting of a DJ name which ultimately went on to influence the group name. Oscar explains more on the origins of the duo and how they naturally flowed (possibly flourished?) as back to back DJs in the Los Angeles underground scene.
