PARADOX (Dev Pandya) is a UK drum & bass producer celebrated for pushing the darker, breakbeat-led edge of the genre and championing drumfunk—a style built on digging up obscure breaks or reworking classic D&B staples into constantly shifting, ultra-detailed drum patterns. He’s also known for his work as Nucleus & Paradox, collaborations with Seba, and releases under the alias Alaska, alongside a deep catalog spanning hundreds of tracks across dozens of labels. He runs the imprints Paradox Music, Esoteric, Outsider, and Arctic Music, and his landmark Reinforced Records albums include Musician As Outsider (2000) and What You Don’t Know (2002).
