JOEL MULL. Stockholm, Sweden. He started traveling around the globe more than a decade ago and quickly made himself well known as “The Swedish techno soul” of the electronic music world. Joel’s passion for music really started in his early adolescence when he began attending a music school and spending all his time at the piano and keyboard.

In the early nineties the new phenomena “Rave” caught his attention and his interest for electronic music and recording own material led to large sums of money being spent on drum machines, samplers and synthesizers. Soon the first 12″ techno track was released, a collaboration between him and school friend ADAM BEYER. It was released in 1993 on an American label based in New York called Direct Drive.

Since then, he hasn’t stopped, from creating his own label Inside records, to working with JESPER DAHLBÄCK and CARI LEKEBUSCH and to touring the world as a Drumcode resident, often playing back to back with ADAM BEYER.

Truesoul, Audiomatique, Drumcode, Saved records, Cocoon, Harthouse and Railyard recordings are SOME of the platforms which aid him spreading the message today. Joel’s tunes are getting played by many of the key figures in the electronic dance community, DJ’s such as SASHA, DIGWEED, LOCO DICE, ADAM BEYER, STEVE RACHMAD, NIC FANCIULLI and HEIKO LAUX are all big supporters of his sound.
